Olga Hernandez

 

Olga has been teaching with the Oxnard Union High School District since 2014. Prior to that she was a para educator for 9 years with VCOE. She  was born in Santa Barbara, California and moved to Oxnard in her teen years. She attended and graduated from  Rio Mesa High School. This  is where she developed an interest in Special Education when she made friends with her peers with special needs. It became her passion to work in the field of Special Education. She enjoys teaching and learning from her students. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, running and participating in half marathons as well as 5K & 10Ks. Her favorites are The Aut2Run, Nun Run and Mountains2Beach. She is  a HUGE Prince fan. She enjoys his music, hanging out and traveling with “Purple Friends.” Olga enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She is proud to be SeaDog and part of Anacapa Adult Transition Program.
